It's come to that time where I write a blogpost about what I've been loving this month.

November has been a really good month for me, I hope yours was good too.

I can't believe it's almost Christmas, this year has gone by so quickly.

Anyway, here are my November favourites.

Glory Days - Little Mix

Little Mix's latest album, Glory Days, might be their best yet. Since winning The X Factor in 2011, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall and Perrie Edwards have all achieved phenomenal success with their songs, the majority of which are fun, energetic and upbeat. They've already spent three weeks at number one with Shoutout To My Ex, the first single from Glory Days. If you loved their single then there's no reason why you won't enjoy their fourth album. Like Shoutout To My Ex, most of the songs are upbeat anthems you can sing along to. The girls are also known for producing powerful and emotional ballads. On Glory Days, the stand out ballad is Nobody Like You and this is where the girls' vocals are at their strongest. If you enjoy listening to catchy pop tunes, I recommend listening to Nothing Else Matters, as it's a fun and optimistic song about being in love. Arrival 

In the past few years, we've had some of the most thought provoking science fiction films released including The Martian, Interstellar, Gravity and many more. Arrival is one of the highly anticipated films we've had this year and fortunately, it didn't disappoint and is just as good as the aforementioned films, maybe even better. Although an alien invasion does feature, the film isn't necessarily about the aliens themselves and focuses instead on Amy Adams' character, Louise Banks, who is a linguist and is recruited by the military to try and translate what the aliens are saying so the film is actually about communication. Earlier this year, we had the sequel to the 1996 action film, Independence Day, and I don't think you can even call it science fiction as there was no science in the film. The film focuses on trying to destroy the aliens that had invaded Earth rather than trying to figure out what they wanted. This is why I'm appreciative of films like Arrival as, when done properly, they can be thought provoking and gripping at the same time. Arrival is, not only the best science fiction film, but also one of the best films we've had this year. If you'd like to read my full review, click here.

Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them

Like Arrival, Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them was also one of the most anticipated films this year because of its connections to the Harry Potter franchise. When the final film in the Potter franchise, Deathly Hallows Part 2, was released, many fans were devastated as they thought this was the end of the Wizarding World and it's unique and interesting characters. Fortunately, J.K. Rowling admitted she couldn't let go of that magical world she had created and, instead of writing another book, she wrote her first screenplay, Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them, which was based on one of the textbooks that the students read at Hogwarts and is written by Newt Scamander, a magizoologist (someone who studies creatures). I'm happy that we got a film instead of book because I enjoyed watching the Wizarding World come to life once again via the silver screen. Eddie Redmayne was cast as the main character, Newt, and he portrays him perfectly. Too many films have brave and confident protagonists so it was refreshing to have a character who is shy, introverted and has a better relationship with his creatures than he does with fellow wizards and witches. Fantastic Beasts is set in New York in the 1920s (several decades before Harry Potter was even born) and features a great cast and some of the most unique creatures ever created on screen. I doubt fans of Harry Potter will be disappointed with this new addition to the popular franchise. If you would like to read my full review, click here.

The Big Bang Theory Season 10 (contains spoilers)

If you know me, you'll know that my favourite TV series is The Big Bang Theory and has been since I first began watching it in 2013 when season 7 had just begun. I loved how the characters were different to any I've seen in any sitcom before and were all likable in their own unique way. I find it hard to believe that this show is on its tenth season already and next year will mark ten years since the programme first began. The characters have developed so well and transitioned so much since the first season. For example, Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) is known for avoiding physical contact as much as possible and rarely hugs so it was a big surprise when he formed a relationship with Amy Farrah Fowler (Mayim Bialik). It was even more of a shock when he kissed her in season 7 and had sex with her in season 9. It's something that no-one, not even the characters in the sitcom, expected Sheldon to do. This is why it's one of my favourite TV programmes. Every episode is different yet still manages to be just as funny as the previous episode. So far, I'm on episode nine of season 10 and I'm really enjoying it so far. The characters and their lives are still entertaining to watch. 

I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!

It's hard to believe that I'm A Celebrity... has been running for fourteen years and is currently on its sixteenth series. For those of you who don't know, I'm A Celebrity is a gaming show in which celebrities live in jungle conditions with few creature comforts. In order to win food, celebrities must participate in various Bushtucker Trials. The trials consist of various games that feature many different creatures and insects, including snakes, spiders and many other creepy crawlies. They're also incredibly challenging. Viewers choose which celebrity they want to do the trial by voting via the official app. The show is presented by Ant and Dec, a Geordie duo who have been presenting for over twenty years. They bring comic relief by making sarcastic comments about the celebrities themselves and the tasks that they had to do. This is what makes them successful presenters as they're not afraid to be themselves. The main source of entertainment comes from watching the celebrities face their fears by doing the Bushtucker Trials. However, if a celebrity wants to give up during a task, they must call out 'I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here' (hence the title of the show). This series has been good so far and has a great group of celebrities including Scarlett Moffatt (best known for appearing in reality TV series, Gogglebox), Larry Lamb (best known for appearing in TV shows such as Gavin & Stacey and Eastenders), Carol Vorderman (who used to do the sums on Countdown) and many more. One thing that is important in these type of shows is chemistry and these campmates have all been getting along. I think this may be one of the best series yet. I've also been really enjoying Extra Camp which is the live aftershow presented by Vicky Pattison, Stacey Solomon, Joe Swash and Chris Ramsey. I've met both Vicky and Stacey and they really are two of the most down to Earth celebrities I've met and both of them have won this show in the past (Vicky in 2015 and Stacey in 2010). In the aftershow, the presenters go behind the scenes and even try the Bushtucker Trials that the celebrities have completed and they also talk to the campmates and various celebrities to get their opinion of the show. All four of the presenters have natural chemistry and are really funny together. This series of I'm A Celebrity... has been great so far and I can't wait to see which celebrity wins and becomes King/Queen of the Jungle. 

'Winters' Snow' by Carrie Hope Fletcher (contains spoilers)

In July, Carrie Hope Fletcher published her first novel, On The Other Side. The story focused on Evie, a woman who has recently passed away but wakes up in the lift in her old apartment building. Confused, Evie walks to her apartment door but finds it locked, however, her former landlord tells her that on the other side of her door is the entrance to heaven. Unfortunately, she can't get through because her soul is too heavy as it's holding three secrets. Evie soon learns that, in order to pass through the door, she must rid herself of the three secrets she's been carrying all her life. This was a really enjoyable story to read and was full of magic realism, romance and drama. It proved how talented Carrie was at writing. Winters' Snow is Carrie's first novella and focuses on Vincent Winters, who was Evie's boyfriend and the only person she ever loved. Of course, Vincent is saddened to hear about Evie's death and this short story focuses on his journey to finding her so they can live in heaven together. In his journey, he meets Evie's cruel and strict mother who we see another side to and his fellow friend, Sonny. It's a really sweet story and, if you enjoyed On The Other Side, I'd recommend reading this book too.

October Favourites ❤

This month has come to an end which means it's time for me

to write another blogpost on my favourite things from October.

October has been a great month for me as so much has happened.

I hope you've had a good month too, if not, I hope November is better. 

'Shoutout To My Ex' - Little Mix

Little Mix's latest single, 'Shoutout To My Ex', is probably one of their best yet. Despite only being released over two weeks ago, it's already sitting in the number one spot in the Official Charts. It's an feel good anthem for those who have gone through a break up and are need of cheering up. This is definitely a confident come back for Little Mix who are about to release their fourth album, Glory Days, next month. In this song, the foursome prove that there's no point wallowing in sadness after going through a break-up as they sing about how they're 'all the way up' and that their ex 'will never bring me down'. After the girls performed this hit on The X Factor (the show that they won almost five years ago), they, unfortunately, received criticism on their choice of costume and were branded too 'slutty' for the show. However, these negative comments didn't bring them down as they stated that there's a double standard and that if a male singer were to perform topless, they would be praised but if a female were to show any bit of skin they'd be shamed. I think that Little Mix looked amazing and their performance on the show was brilliant. I'm so proud of these four girls because they've come so far and made so many achievements since winning The X Factor in 2011.

'Our World' by Little Mix

Not only have Little Mix released a single, announced a new album and tour but they've also published a new book, 'Our World'. In this, their hugely anticipated second book (the first being Ready To Fly published in 2012), the girls provide an insight into life as the world's hottest girl group. Sharing their most personal experiences, they talk about friendship, reveal the truth about their relationships and all the lessons they've learned on their incredible journey to superstardom. So far, I've really enjoyed reading this. The book consists of nine different chapters including: The Beginning; A Little Dream, A Lot Of Love; DNA; We Are Who We Are; Little Me; About The Boy; Different Beat; Change Your Life and The End. In each chapter, the girls talk about different aspects of their life including growing up, personal issues, their first relationships, their experience on The X Factor and the success they've received since. Most people would think that those who are in the spotlight have a perfect life but, in Our World, the girls prove that it isn't all glitz and glamour. For example, after Little Mix won the show, Jesy Nelson received a lot of cyber bullying about her weight and appearance. She explains that this made her feel incredibly insecure but, fortunately, with the help of her fellow bandmates and fans, she has now grown into a confident and happy young woman. I'd definitely recommend this book even if you're not a fan of Little Mix as you see a whole other side to them and a deep insight into what it's really like being in one of the biggest girl groups in the world.

'Where Am I Now?' by Mara Wilson

If, like me, you watched Matilda as a child then you may recognise the little girl on the front cover of this book. Her name is Mara Wilson and she portrayed the title character in 1996 adaptation of Roald Dahl's book. It's still one of my favourite films to this day and I've wondered for a long time what happened to the young actress who played her. Not only did she play Matilda but she also appeared in other films as well: in 1993, she appeared in Mrs. Doubtfire alongside Robin Williams as his daughter, Natalie; a year later, in 1994, she played Susan in Miracle On 34th Street alongside Richard Attenborough; in 1997, she portrayed Anabel in A Simple Wish with Martin Short and, in 2000, she appeared as Lily in Thomas and the Magic Railroad which also starred Alec Baldwin. These were some of my favourite films as a child and, it was after making The Magic Railroad, that Mara decided to quit acting at the age of 13 and focus on writing. In this book, she describes that there was a lot of pressure to remain the cute actress that she was known as in the 1990s. Mara also talks about what it was like working alongside great actors such as the late Robin Williams and how the two ended up meeting almost a decade after working on Mrs. Doubtfire. Many people may remember her for playing the title character in Matilda and Mara also gives in an insight to what it was like working on that film and alongside Danny DeVito. Of course, these are all the positive aspects of her life but she has also had some struggles along the way too. Whilst working on Matilda, she, sadly, lost her mother to breast cancer when she was only nine years old. Mara also bravely opens up about her experience with anxiety and depression. Even if you've never seen any of Mara's films, it's definitely worth a read. As a child, I wanted Mara to be in more films because I liked all of her other films, especially Matilda and Mrs. Doubtfire but, now that we're both adults, I respect in her decision in quitting acting and focusing on what she really wanted to do which was to write.

The Girl On The Train

I recently read the book last month and thought it was a thrilling read so I was very much looking forward to the film which starred Emily Blunt as the title character, Rachel. Fortunately, it didn't disappoint. However, shortly after its release, it received a lot of criticism. I think that this was because most people were expecting something among the lines of Gone Girl which was a thriller adaptation of Gillian Flynn's novel released in 2014. I didn't think that The Girl On The Train would be like Gone Girl because the only thing they have in common is that they're both dramatic films about mysteries. I think that this is a great adaptation of Paula Hawkin's bestseller novel, which was published in early 2015. Blunt's performance was spot-on as Rachel who is an alcoholic and is obsessed with riding the same train just to see two houses, one of which is her old home which she used to share with her, now ex, husband, Tom who is now married and has a daughter with Anna. The second home is owned by a couple, Megan and Scott, who Rachel thinks are the 'embodiment of true love'. However, after riding the same train on Friday morning, Rachel sees something that she wasn't expecting to see and is filled with anger. Suddenly, it's Saturday morning and she has woken up with a hangover and no recollection of the previous night and she soon learns that Megan is missing. Now, Rachel becomes caught up in this shocking mystery and is determined to find out what happened to Megan. I think that this is one of the most original films we've had this year. It's not a sequel or a remake (not that they are bad, we've just had too many of them) and features strong performances from the whole cast and a great twist. Highlight of the Month - Meeting Emma Blackery (24/10/16)

If you know me, you'll know that I'm a fan of Emma Blackery's and have been watching her videos since 2013. I thought that her videos were really funny, creative and original. I liked how her videos were more focused on entertaining her viewers. I immediately subscribed and I soon discovered that she wrote and sung her own songs. Her most popular song, The Promise, really made me emotional and I respected her a lot for writing a song aimed at those who suffer from urges to self-harm, suicidal thoughts and depression. I do think that if you are currently struggling you should listen to The Promise. Despite it being a slow and sad ballad, the lyrics are incredibly uplifting including 'I promise that you are so beautiful' and 'just believe in yourself when nobody is listening'. I was fortunate enough to see Emma on Busted's 'Pigs Can Fly' tour in June and, despite suffering from a cold, she was still amazing. I bought myself a general admission ticket and a VIP Upgrade to Emma's gig at Sound Control in Manchester. I was so excited because I was finally meeting Emma after supporting her for over three years. I met Emma at about 7pm and she greeted me with a hug and was just as nice as you'd expect her to be. September Favourites ❤

I can't believe it's the end of September already, 

time has flown by really quickly. 

I've really enjoyed this month especially 

since it was my 19th birthday on the 20th.

Anyway, here's what I've been loving this month.

Bridget Jones's Baby

I first watched Bridget Jones's Diary about four years ago and I loved it. It was, by far, one of the best romantic comedies I'd ever watch, mainly because of the title character and how relatable she was. I was one of the very few who actually enjoyed the first sequel, The Edge Of Reason. Now, 12 years after The Edge Of Reason, Renee Zellweger is back as Bridget and this time she's pregnant but the question is: who's the father? Is it Mark Darcy's? Or newcomer Jack Quant's? Most sequels don't tend to be as good as its predecessor but I can definitely say that Bridget Jones's Baby is just as funny as its two previous predecessors. There are plenty of mishaps to keep it entertaining and even a very funny cameo from Ed Sheeran. If you'd like to read my review, click here. 

Still Falling For You - Ellie Goulding

Ellie Goulding is one of my favourite singers and I loved seeing her on her tour earlier this year. She has one of the most beautiful voices so I was so happy when she announced that she was going to be singing and releasing the leading single from the Bridget Jones's Baby soundtrack, Still Falling For You. Last year, she released Love Me Like You Do from the Fifty Shades Of Grey soundtrack and it went on to spend four weeks at number one in the UK Official Singles Chart. This song is very similar to Love Me Like You Do in terms of sound and theme (both songs are about being in love). Still Falling For You appears towards the end of Bridget Jones's Baby.

The Girl On The Train by Paula Hawkins

Although it was published at the beginning of last year, I've only just read this global bestseller by Paula Hawkins as the film version is just about to be released next month. This is definitely one of the best thriller books I've ever read and it is really gripping. The story focuses on three different women. The main character is Rachel, who takes the same train every morning and every evening and on that journey she passes by her old home which she used to share with Tom who is now her ex-husband. On the same train journey, she begins compulsively watching a couple, Megan and Scott, who live a few houses down from Tom. Rachel begins fantasising about this 'perfect' couple. Rachel is also struggling to come to terms with the end of her marriage to Tom, his new wife, Anna and their baby daughter and becomes addicted to drinking which leads to various blackouts and memory loss. Things take a drastic turn when Rachel, on her usual train journey, looks out at Megan and Scott's house and is shocked when she sees something she wasn't expecting to see. Suddenly, Megan has disappeared and Rachel becomes even more obsessed about finding out what happened to her. 

This book is full of shocking twists and turns. It's told in the first person from each of the main women (Rachel, Megan and Anna) which makes us learn more about each character. I wasn't expecting the book to end the way that it did. I'm so happy that a film adaptation is being released and I think that Emily Blunt will give a great portrayal of Rachel. I really hope that the film will be just as good and remain faithful to the book as it's a really interesting read. I would recommend this book to readers who enjoy mystery and thrillers.

Highlights of this month

My 19th Birthday (20/09/2016)

Most 19 year olds spend their 19th birthday having a massive party and getting drunk with their friends but since I don't have any friends, I decided to spend the day with my family. My Mum and I went to watch Bridget Jones's Baby in the afternoon and then, in the evening, my family and I had dinner at Zizzi before going back to my house to open more presents and blow the candles out on my cake, which was amazing as you can tell by the above picture. It was a white chocolate and raspberry cake and it's definitely the best cake I've ever had. I mainly got money for my birthday but I did get a lot of lovely presents too including clothes, Lush bath bombs, shower creams and body washes, series nine of The Big Bang Theory and lots of chocolate. I had an amazing day, I really can't believe I'm 19 now.

Meeting Carrie Hope Fletcher - (12/09/2016)

I loved meeting Carrie Hope Fletcher on her All I Know Now book tour in Manchester in May last year, she was so bubbly and down to earth, just like in her YouTube videos. I was gutted when Carrie announced another book tour and I found out she wasn't coming to Manchester. However, I noticed she was doing a talk and Q&A with the audience event in Birmingham just like the event in Manchester last year. I bought myself a ticket to her Birmingham event and train tickets from Manchester to Birmingham. When the 12th came, I was so excited, I couldn't believe I was seeing Carrie again. The event was at the Glee Club where many famous comedians (including Michael McIntyre, Alan Carr and Jack Whitehall) had performed. I arrived at the venue at about 5:15pm expecting there to be a huge queue but there was only about 10 people waiting. I thought I'd be stuck in the queue waiting ages but, fortunately, three other girls in the queue (Eleanor, Robyn and Mia) asked me if I wanted to play the Disney version of Heads Up so we spent about half an hour playing that which I enjoyed. At about 6-ish, we entered the Glee Club and took our seats (I was sat second row from the stage which I was very happy about). At about 6:55pm, I caught a glance of Carrie walking behind the curtain towards the stage and at 7pm, she appeared on the stage waving and filming the audience. She spent about half an hour talking about her latest book, On The Other Side, before answering questions from the audience. Then, after a five minute break, she sat at a desk and began meeting the audience and signing books. When it came to me meeting her, I was so starstruck and overwhelmed that I didn't get to talk to her much. And the picture didn't come out great as I'd left the flash on my phone and the picture didn't come out great which I was a bit gutted about but I was just happy to have met and hugged Carrie. You can see the pictures I got on my blog here. However, I was very happy when Carrie uploaded her vlog from Birmingham and included my video footage! Overall, I had the best time seeing Carrie and hopefully I'll see her again soon and get a better picture.

AUGUST FAVOURITES ❤

Hi, hope you've all had a great summer and enjoyed yourselves this past month.

August has been a great month for me, I have a lot of favourites.

'On The Other Side' by Carrie Hope Fletcher

I love Carrie Hope Fletcher, she's definitely one of the most inspiring people I know. She has achieved so much in the two years I've known her. Last year she published her first book, All I Know Now, which is a non-fiction lifestyle guide and I loved it. It was full of advice and anecdotes from Carrie's life growing up and she shared the mistakes she made and how she got through them. Now, Carrie has released her debut novel, On The Other Side, and it's amazing. I can tell how hard Carrie has worked on this book. It's full of romance, laughs, tears, magic and is a really heartwarming story about Evie Snow who, after passing away in her early eighties, wakes up in the afterlife. Unfortunately, the door that leads to heaven is locked and the only way to get through is by ridding herself of the three secrets that make her soul heavy. It's an incredible journey and is a really compelling story and I'm so proud of Carrie for writing it. If you want to read my review, click here. I'd definitely recommend it to fans of romance, comedy and drama.

'The Real Me' by Vicky Pattison

If you know me, you'll know I love Vicky Pattison and have supported her for almost two years. She has published several books including two autobiographies and two novels and she has now published her latest book which is a lifestyle guide with advice on fashion, fitness and food. I can tell that this book means a lot to Vicky as it includes all of her advice on how to be the best version of yourself that you can be. She gives tips on how to be confident and how to perfect the liquid eyeliner. I do think that there's something for everyone in this book. If you need advice on fashion, fitness and food then there's no better book than The Real Me. Vicky has overcome a lot of struggles ever since she left the reality TV show, Geordie Shore, two years ago and she shares with us how she overcame them and became the successful woman she is today. I would definitely say that this is one of the most helpful books I've ever read. 

'The Luxe Life' by Fleur De Force

Last year, beauty vlogger, Fleur De Force, published her first book, 'The Glam Guide' and it was successful amongst females in need of advice on make-up and fashion. Now, Fleur has published her second book, The Luxe Life which is similar to The Glam Guide as it gives advice on make-up and fashion but on other factors as well including: black-tie beauty, hollywood hair, front-row fashion, luxe at home, perfect party food, wedding belles and the art of giving. In Fleur's words, it's an 'ultimate bible for busy girls who are ready to take the next step in their journey to the luxe life'. If you loved The Glam Guide, then there's no doubt you'll love The Luxe Life. It's perfect if you're in need of any advice or tips on how to live a luxurious life. This book has helped me a lot to be confident in beauty and fashion and I've learn a lot about make-up and hair. I would recommend this book to anyone in need of some ideas on how to live the luxe life.

 Suicide Squad

This is definitely one of the most anticipated films this year and, in my opinion, it didn't disappoint. I went in hoping for some hardcore action, interesting and over-the-top characters and that's what Suicide Squad brings. Unfortunately, it received negative criticism and I can understand why people wouldn't like it. The plot does get a bit muddled but, honestly, I wasn't too bothered by it. The characters and action sequences were entertaining enough for me. I loved Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn in particular. Harley was the character I expected a lot from and Margot didn't disappoint. Harley has a lot of one-liners and is really likable, despite being a criminal. I also loved Will Smith as Deadshot and Jared Leto as The Joker, although he's not in that many scenes but, hopefully, we'll see more of him in a future sequel. As far as performances go, there's not a bad one to be found, everyone involved gives a strong performance. If you want to read my full review, click here.

Nerve

Nerve is definitely one of the most original films this year. There have been a lot of sequels and remakes released in 2016 which is why Nerve will probably stand out when I look back on the best films of this year. It's a thriller focused on a new app called 'Nerve' that everyone is obsessed with. You're either a player or a watcher. Watchers pay a fee and choose a dare for the player to do and if the player successfully achieves the dare, they get paid a large amount of money. The film introduces us to Vee (Emma Roberts) who, after falling out with her friend, becomes a player on Nerve. This leads to her meeting Ian (Dave Franco) and a series of dramatic dares that could potentially lead to disaster. The dare themselves are really scary which is one of the things that makes this an exhilariting film to watch. At times, I wasn't sure if certain characters were going to achieve the dare. It's also a perfect time to release this film in the light of the Pokemon Go obsession. This film perfectly shows how caught up in technology we have become and how it can lead to danger. Both Emma Roberts and Dave Franco are great as Vee and Ian and share chemistry. If you'd like to read my review, click here.

Bad Moms

I'm a huge fan of comedy as it's one of the most entertaining genres to watch. This is why I was so excited about watching Bad Moms and it didn't disappoint. It's not going to win an Academy Award but it is certainly one of the funniest films this year. Mila Kunis plays Amy Mitchell who is a mother to two children and is struggling to be the 'perfect' mom. After failing to attend work on time and being late to pick her children up from school, Amy decides that's she's done with trying to be a perfect mother. After meeting Kiki (Kristen Bell) and Carla (Kathryn Hahn), they agree to stop trying to be 'perfect' and, instead, be 'bad moms'. This leads to them going to the movies and having parties and, most importantly, having fun. Along the way, Amy learns about what it means to be a mother and why it's important to stand up for what's right. Gwendolyn (Christina Applegate) runs the PTA meetings but is incredibly bossy and is always telling women how to be the perfect mom. Not only that but she's a bully and hates it when she doesn't get her own way. This is why Amy decides that she's going to run in the election to be the new president of the PTA meetings. To do that, she must get all the other moms to like her and she achieves this by throwing a party. This is one of the funniest scenes in the film. Mila Kunis, Kristen Bell and Kathryn Hahn work well and generate a lot of chemistry as three friends who understand each other. If you want to read my full review, click here.

'Into You' by Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande is one of my favourite singers so I was very excited when she announced her new single, 'Into You' and it didn't disappoint. It's very similar to her previous singles, 'Dangerous Woman' and 'Love Me Harder' which are also my favourite songs of hers. Into You is about having feelings for someone and wanting to develop a physical relationship with them. Ariana's vocals are beautiful in this song and, because of its beat and rhythm, it's a really catchy song. It's definitely one of her best songs yet and one of my favourite songs this month.

This was my fourth time meeting Vicky and she was just as down to earth as she was the first time I met her. She was really chatty and we talked about her winning I'm A Celebrity... last year and all of her amazing achievements and she was really sweet. She signed my copy of her updated autobiography, 'Nothing But The Truth' and her latest book, 'The Real Me'. I feel really happy to have met Vicky for a fourth time as I love meeting her and she always puts a smile on my face. 

So those are what I've been loving this month.

July Favourites ❤

Hi, sorry for not posting in ages.

If I'm honest, I really don't know what to post on this blog anymore.

However, I do enjoy writing my 'Monthly Favourites' posts as I like 

reflecting on all the positives of the past month.

July has been a great month for me, there have been a lot of highlights.

Here's what I've been loving this month:

Activated - Cher Lloyd

If you know me well, you'll know I'm a huge fan of Cher Lloyd ever since she was on The X Factor in 2010. Since then, she has released two albums and several singles. This is her latest single, 'Activated', and it's amazing. In my opinion, it's her best song yet. I would say that Cher is one of the most underrated artists out there because her last album, Sorry I'm Late, wasn't successful. She has one of the most beautiful voices and has been working so hard for the past six years, she deserves to be successful. I know some of you might not like Cher (for some reason?) but, please, just give this new single a listen on YouTube and if you like it, you can buy it here on iTunes. 

Ghostbusters

Some of you may be shocked to see this as one of my favourites but, honestly, this is one of the funniest films I've seen this year. I don't understand the hate it got when this reboot was announced. I think the majority of hate came from people who grew up watching the original (where the four main characters were played by men) and were sceptical to the new version. This was one of the films I was most looking forward to watching and it didn't disappoint. This is directed by Paul Feig and I loved two of his previous films, The Heat and Spy. I think that this one manages to give its own unique take on the classic story without being a direct copy. I think it's worth watching if you enjoyed the original, are a fan of Paul Feig and the actors featured in this film. If you want to read my full review, click here. 

Now You See Me 2

Now You See Me is one of my favourite films as it's thrilling and has a unique story about a group of magicians who use tricks to escape the FBI. It was entertaining and was one of the best films of 2013. When I found out there was going to be a sequel, I was really excited as the main characters were all really likable and I wondered where they would go after the events of the first film. While this isn't as good as the first film, it's still a fun watch. There are several new characters including Daniel Radcliffe as the antagonist, Walter Mabry. He provided comic relief in this thriller. The tricks in the first film were created using logic and made the audience think 'How did they do that?'. However, in this sequel, the answer to that question is obvious: CGI. But, if I'm honest, I don't see that as a bad thing because what film doesn't rely on CGI these days? While this isn't a perfect sequel, it's still enjoyable to watch, especially if you enjoyed the first film. If you'd like to read my full review, click here.

The BFG

When I was growing up, Roald Dahl's The BFG was one of my favourite books. Most giants are seen as scary and evil but Dahl changes that stereotype. The 'BFG' stands for 'Big Friendly Giant' and that's exactly what the main character is. The story does include giants that are horrible and enjoy eating people but that's where the conflict comes in. The BFG is the only one that's friendly and would rather eat the disgusting 'snozzcumber' then a human 'bean'. When I re-read the book earlier this year, I remembered why I loved it and I was so happy when I heard that Steven Spielberg had directed a live action adaptation of it. Fortunately, it didn't disappoint and it managed to capture the feel of the book. The CGI looked stunning and I felt like I was part of Sophie's adventure with the BFG. This film is mainly aimed towards children but there's no reason why people who read the book shouldn't enjoy it. If you want to read my full review, click here.

 'Tanya Bakes' by Tanya Burr

Back in summer 2014, I went through a phase of baking. I wanted to be able to make cakes, cookies, ect from scratch but, unfortunately, it didn't really work out and I gave up. When one of my favourite YouTubers, Tanya Burr, announced she was bringing out her first baking book, I couldn't be more happier for her. I was also really excited to see what recipes she would include. I think that this is the perfect baking book for anyone wanting to start baking and need tips. Tanya has proven in a lot of her videos that she can easily bake and cook from scratch and makes the most amazing products. This book includes recipes such as: cookies & biscuits; muffins, cupcakes & traybakes; cakes & loaves; puddings; pastry; bread; brunch and special occasions. I haven't tried out any of the recipes myself yet as I don't have the ingredients to do so but, as soon as I have the right ingredients and equipment, I will definitely try out a recipe from Tanya's book.

Highlight of July - Meeting Fleur De Force (29/07/2016)

In February 2015, I met Fleur De Force for the first time at her book signing for her first book 'The Glam Guide'. She was really sweet and we talked about Twitter and makeup (of course). Earlier this year, Fleur announced that she was writing her second book, 'The Luxe Life' and I couldn't be more excited to read it. I was so happy when she announced a book tour and that she was coming to Manchester. She was just as down to earth the first time I met her. I told her that I met her at her previous book signing back in February last year and she said that it feels like yesterday that she was here touring with her first book. I loved meeting her and I'm hoping that she'll bring out another book and there'll be another opportunity for me to see her. I'd definitely recommend this book to anyone in need of advice based on make-up, hair, clothing or how to live a 'luxe life'.

Those were my favourites and highlights of this month.

June Favourites ❤

Hi everyone!

I hope you've all had a great month, if not I hope July is better.

June has been a really good month so here's what I've been loving.

Me Before You

I hadn't read the book that this film is based on before watching this film so I didn't really know what to expect apart from the fact that it's a romantic drama that will probably make the viewer shed some tears. I can say that this film was definitely better than what I expected and it has made me want to read the book. The performances from the two leads, Emilia Clarke as Lou Clark, a young woman who has a positive outlook on life and Sam Claflin as Will Traynor who is a quadriplegic after the result of a motorbike accident and his personality is a contrast to Lou's. He sees no desire to live but his life changes after meeting the optimistic Lou. I'd definitely recommend this film to people who enjoy romantic dramas and don't mind crying. It's Not Me, It's You

If you know me, you'll know that I love Vicky Pattison and have been supporting her ever since I met her at her book signing in September 2014. Since releasing her autobiography almost two years ago, she has come a long way. She has published two novels (All That Glitters and A Christmas Kiss), had her own TV series where she helped various people with their problems (Judge Geordie), won a reality TV show (I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!) and now she is part of a new panel-based series on Channel 5 called It's Not Me, It's You. Vicky is the captain of one of two teams (the other is captained by Kelly Brook) and the show is presented by Eamonn Holmes. There are three different games. In the first, Eamonn will ask if the audience decided if something was a deal breaker and the teams must decide which is the right answer in order to win a point. The questions are all based on romantic relationships. In the show, we hear the team's opinions on certain things. There are also elements of comedy especially from Vicky who doesn't hold back when she talks about her past relationships. The first episode has only just aired but the show will be on every Thursday on Channel 5 at 10pm.

Just Like Fire - Pink

Last month, the sequel to Tim Burton's Alice In Wonderland, Alice Through The Looking Glass was released and, with most movies, a famous artist will record and release a single in order to promote the movie. With the previous film, Avril Lavigne released a song called Alice which was really good. This time, Pink has released a song called Just Like Fire which is a lot more upbeat than Avril's song. The video is original too and features Pink's real life husband, Carey Hart, and their daughter, Willow, as they travel through a Wonderland and meet some of the characters from the film. 

Highlight of the month: Seeing Emma Blackery and Busted on the Pigs Can Fly tour

I thought that I could also include a 'Highlight of the Month' in my monthly favourites because this night was definitely one of the best days of my life. In case you didn't know, I'm a huge fan of Emma Blackery and have been supporting her ever since I started watching her YouTube videos in 2013. I think she's really funny and creative and she's also a talented singer/songwriter too. When I heard Emma was touring with Busted on their Pigs Can Fly tour, I was so happy for her. The tour was coming to Manchester twice (an extra date had been released due to popular demand) and I wasn't going to go until I noticed there was one ticket left for a seat close to the stage for only £50! So of course I bought it. Then I realised, Oh my God, I'm finally seeing Emma Blackery live! (And Busted of course) Friday the 3rd June finally came and I couldn't be more excited. I got to Manchester Arena about 5pm and queued about an hour until the doors opened. I got my 'EB' t-shirt which is a part of Emma's merchandise and went to my seat. I was really happy with my seat. At about 7:30pm, the instrumental to Emma's latest single, Sucks To Be You and I jumped out of my seat and there she was! I quickly got out my camera and recorded her singing Sucks To Be You, Look What You Made Me Do and Perfect. Despite having a cold, she still came out and performed for the crowd and she didn't disappoint! Her setlist was short but it has made me even more excited to see her at her tour in October. Busted were amazing too. They really know how to entertain an audience. I was only about 4/5 when they were popular but I remember jumping on my bed and dancing to Year 3000. I also love Thunderbirds Are Go, Falling For You and What I Go To School For. Overall, I had a great night and will definitely be one of my biggest highlights of 2016.

2016 is going really quickly, I can't believe we're

halfway through this year already.

Here are my favourites.

X-Men: Apocalypse

This is definitely one of my favourite films of this year. It's the eighth film in the X-Men franchise and focuses on the worlds first ever mutant, known as Apocalypse, who has awaken after being buried underground for thosands of years and it's up to the X-Men to stop him from destroying the world. This film is set in the 1980s, ten years after the events of Days Of Future Past. Every actor involved gives a strong performance especially James McAvoy (as Charles Xavier), Michael Fassbender (as Magneto) and Oscar Isaac (as Apocalypse). The action is full on throughout and is just as good as the previous X-Men films, if not better. If you'd like to read my full review, click here.

Britain's Got Talent

This has been my favourite show to watch as it's one of the most entertaining protgrammes on TV. Every year, thousands of people from all around the world auditioning for this show and showing off their 'talent'. The reason for the speech marks is that some people don't have talent and they just want to be on telly. That's what makes this TV show so fun to watch. Of course, there are some really talented acts too and that's why this show is such a success. It's currently in its 10th year. Ant and Dec present the show and their reactions to some of their auditions is just priceless. The current judges are Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams. I think this is the best judging line-up as they're all different and have their own views and opinions. The live semi-finals were last week and the majority of acts were really good. BGT is one of those shows that I look forward to every year as it just gets better. I also love the side show on ITV2, Britain's Got More Talent, presented by Stephen Mulhern. As you can probably guess, there's a lot more to the show and we get to see Stephen interviewing the acts and playing various games with Ant and Dec. It's hilarious.

Sucks To Be You - Emma Blackery

Emma Blackery is one of my favourite YouTubers and many inspirations. Not only does she post some of the best videos on YouTube, she's also just released her EP, Sucks To Be You. It features some of her best songs including her single, Sucks To Be You, Let Me Be and Look What You Made Me Do. Emma is currently on tour with Busted and she has also announced her first headlining tour which will be later this year. Words honestly can't describe how proud I am of Emma. She has come so far since she started YouTube four years ago. In my opinion, I think she's really underrated and deserves more recognition, so, if you haven't already, you should definitely give her EP a listen. The songs are brilliant and written by Emma herself. 

Can't Stop The Feeling - Justin Timberlake

This is Justin Timberlake's latest single and features on the soundtrack for the new animated film, Trolls, and is a feel good anthem. This is definitely one of Justin's best songs and the music video is great. It features a variety celebrities including James Corden, Gwen Stefani, Anna Kendrick, Kunal Nayyar and Justin himself in different clips of them performing and lip synching to the song. I think this song is perfect for anyone in need of a positivity boost.

Cheap Thrills - Sia

I think that Sia is an incredible singer with hits such as Chandelier and Elastic Heart. Now, Sia has recently released her latest single, Cheap Thrills which proves to be just as good as her aforementioned singles. Sia sings 'Baby I don't need dollar bills to have fun tonight / I love cheap thrills' which is a meaningful lyric as she's saying that money isn't necessary in order to have fun and I agree. The song is really catchy too and I love the video which features Maddie Ziegler who is a talented 13-year-old dancer and frequently appears in Sia's videos. Her dance moves are really compelling and makes the songs even more enjoyable.

'Feel Pampered' and 'Feel Blissful' - Radox bath soaks

If you've been reading my blog for a while, you'll know I love Radox's bath soaks. They're cheap (currently two for £1.80 at Superdrug) and they last for a really long time (you don't need to use loads in order to get a lot of bubbles). They also have really nice-smelling fragrances. I've recently bought the above bath soaks and I can definitely say they're my current favourites. The 'Feel Pampered' contains Shea Butter which enhances the fragrance and smells similar to chocolate. The 'Feel Blissful' is perfect for relaxing as it has calendula and rose which is a gorgeous combination.
