Last weekend, I went down to London to watch Les Miserables at the Queen's Theatre and visit Madame Tussauds. I had a great time so I had to write a blogpost about it.
(NOTE: All these photos were taken on my iPhone as I did take pictures on my camera but I unfortunately lost it so there may not be any posts for a while until I get a new camera)
UPDATE: The Staff at Madame Tussauds found my camera and sent it back to me and I have received it today. If you want to see the pictures that I took at Madame Tussauds then click here.

I got to London at about 12pm and spent my afternoon unpacking my suitcase and relaxing in the hotel. At about 3pm, I decided to walk around London for a bit and I visited Covent Garden which is where I got a Starbucks.
I got my usual order of a 'Strawberries and Cream' blend which is blended strawberries and milk with whipped cream on top. It is pretty much a strawberry milkshake with cream, it's so good. Since it was a Saturday, it was very busy but the staff were very quick and I didn't have to wait long for my drink.
After having my drink and walking round, I decided to go back to the hotel and get ready to see Les Miserables at the Queen's Theatre.
I had seen the film version of Les Miserables when it was released in cinemas in 2012 and loved it so I was very excited about watching the original musical. It was brilliant and definitely a lot better than the film as there was more to it. All the actors were amazing, too, and no one faltered. One person I was really looking forward to seeing was Carrie Hope Fletcher, who plays Eponine. The reason why was because I have been a fan of her YouTube videos for over a year and I met her in May at her 'All I Know Now' event in Manchester (read about that here) and she was so sweet. I knew that her main job was performing in Les Mis as Eponine so I knew I had to see her in it. I was also hoping to meet her afterwards as, sometimes, she meets people who are waiting by Stage Door (which is where people leave the theatre). Unfortunately, she had tweeted earlier saying that she wasn't feeling very well but I didn't mind too much, I was happy that she still managed to perform. Her performance as Eponine was great and it brought me to tears, especially at a certain point in the show (don't worry, I won't spoil it). All I'm going to say is, if you're going to watch Les Mis, make sure you have tissues with you, it's really emotional.
The next day, I visited Lush in Oxford Street which I was very excited about. I am a huge fan of Lush and, when I heard that there was going to be a new Lush in Oxford Street in London, I knew I had to visit at some point. When I walked past the Lush on my way to Madame Tussauds, I knew I had to go in and look.
It didn't disappoint. I heard one woman say that it's the 'biggest Lush in the world' which doesn't surprise me. It has two floors full of the best Lush products. I live in Manchester and there are only two Lush shops (one at the Manchester Arndale and one at the Trafford Centre) and they're not that big and have limited products so I couldn't resist buying some products from the Lush in Oxford Street. I ended up spending over £30.
This is what I got from Lush and I shall be doing a 'Lush Haul' blogpost soon.
After visiting Lush, I walked straight to Madame Tussauds. I wasn't going to visit as I wasn't really bothered but, last week, Madame Tussauds tweeted saying that the new Zoella waxwork was available so I knew I had to go since I was in London. I took loads of pictures on my camera but, unfortunately, I lost it so these are the pictures I got with the waxworks on my phone.
There's a new Kim Kardashian waxwork and she's holding up an iPhone that takes a selfie for you but I decided just to take one on my phone. My pouty face is so awkward.
And, of course, you can't have a Kim Kardashian waxwork without her husband Kanye West!
The Hunger Games is one of my favourite film and book series and Jennifer Lawrence is one of my favourite actresses so I was very happy when I saw her waxwork (as you can probably tell from my selfie)! I think Jennifer is best known for her role as Katniss but I think that Madame Tussauds should have a waxwork of Jennifer when she won an Oscar (see below) as that was a huge moment in her career and shows what a great actress she is.
I also loved seeing the James Bond and M waxworks as they are both iconic characters in movie history and I love Judi Dench.
The next waxwork I saw was Zoella's! It was so weird seeing Zoella's waxwork sat there as I remember watching Zoe's announcement video about it in April and now it's actually here. I couldn't be more prouder of Zoe, so many people were wondering why she got a waxwork but it was because so many people were asking for one as she's one of the most popular YouTubers. People think she just sits around and makes videos but she does a lot more than that. She has helped so many people who are struggling with panic attacks and anxiety and is a huge role model for teenagers. She is not afraid to talk about personal issues and she always tries and puts on a happy face no matter what she is going through. It is hard for her viewers to meet her in person and get a selfie as well so this waxwork is also a great way for those viewers to get a picture with Zoe.
I've been a huge fan of Miley Cyrus since I was about 9 when I started watching Hannah Montana and I loved her. I loved her personality and I also loved listening to her sing as well. She has been a huge inspiration for me and I've supported her through everything. When she cut her hair short, in 2013, almost everyone hated her for making that decision but I was so proud of her as she donated her hair to a charity that makes wigs for children with cancer. People see her as this crazy singer that sticks her tongue out but she's more than that. In the past year she has helped homeless and transsexual people in America and does so much to help others. She is such a caring person and doesn't pay attention to any of the hate she gets.
That is why I was so happy to see Miley's waxwork at Madame Tussauds because it's probably the closest thing I'll get to meeting Miley.
By the way, I don't know what my hand is doing in the last picture, I look so weird!
I almost forgot to get a selfie with Cheryl Fernandez-Versini's waxwork but I quickly got one before I left. It's so weird because, the last time I was at Madame Tussauds, I hadn't met Cheryl yet and it was the closest thing I had gotten to a picture with Cheryl. Now, a year later, I've met her and got a picture with her.
And last, but not least, I got selfies with two of Marvel Comic's most popular superheroes, Wolverine and Iron Man. In the Marvel Comics section, there is a 4D cinema which has a 10 minute short animated film that includes the Marvels superheros. It is amazing as it uses effects that makes you feel like they're in the room with you. If you're a Marvel Superheroes fan, I'd definitely recommend that you visit it.
And, after the Marvel Superheroes section, there is a Star Wars section but I didn't realise that you needed a ticket to visit it. Hopefully I'll be able to see it next time I'm in London.
And that is how I spent my weekend in London!
Thank you for reading, hope you enjoyed it.
