❤ JUNE FAVOURITES ❤

I can't believe that it's the end of June already! I hope you've had a good month, if not, I hope July is better for you. :)
Anyway, here are my June favourties ❤
Little Mix - Black Magic
My music favourite has got to be Little Mix's latest single, 'Black Magic', it's so catchy, I love it. The song is basically about wanting to cast a spell on a crush so they'll fall in love with you. I also loved the music video, the girls were all dressed up as nerds in high school, it made me laugh so much! Click here to watch it.
I was lucky enough to meet Little Mix on their Black Magic radio tour in Manchester, click here to read my blogpost.
 Radox 'Moisture Soak' Bath Soak
If you know me, you'll know I love a bath. They are so relaxing and I love Radox's Bath Soaks, especially their 'Relax' one, but this month I've been loving their 'Moisture Soak' because it's frangrance smells so fresh and it consists of a blend of Calendula and Rose. I also love that you don't need to use too much as a little goes a long way and it lasts for ages.
I love... Raspberry & Blackberry bubble bath and shower cream
The name of this bubble bath and shower cream sums it up really. I love this, it smells amazing! Honestly, when I saw this in Primark, I picked it up straightaway and smelt it and immediately fell in love with it. I love that it doubles as a shower cream as well as a bubble bath.
Ben & Jerry's 'What-a-Lotta Chocolate Cookie Core'
I love ice cream, especially Ben & Jerry's. My two current favourite flavours are Cookie Dough and Half-Baked. Ben & Jerry's have recently started making these 'Core' ice creams which consists of ice cream with something in the middle. For example, the core in this ice cream consists of chocolatey cookie pieces, which I loved. So, basically, it's chocolate ice cream and cookies mixed together. This is definitely my favourite of their 'Core' range.
Cherry Wallis' 'Cherry Treat Box'
Cherry Wallis is one of my favourite YouTubers, she is so funny and sweet so when I heard she was bringing out her own 'Treat Box', I was so excited. I finally received mine earlier this month and I loved it! It consists of cute treats like chocolate, a cupcake bath fizz, candle and more. I wrote a review on the treats, click here to read it.

MUA make-up including: 5th Anniversay Eye Shadow; Matte Perfect Light Foundation and Nail Varnish
At the beginning of this month, I decided to buy a few things from MUA as they were all on offer at Superdrug. I bought the eye shadow as it was limited edition and I loved the colours. The Matte Perfect foundation matches my skin and covers most of my blemishes and imperfections. I also love the colour of the nail varnishes.

MUA lipsticks
I also got two MUA lipsticks in two different shades which I loved. I got lipstick in shades 13 and 'Scarlet Siren', both of which I loved. I tend to go for reds and pinks so these were perfect for me.

So those are my June favourites.
Thank you for reading!

❤ Love Wins! ❤

As you may or may not have heard, same-sex marriage has just been legalised in the United States of America. This means everyone can get married, despite their gender or sexuality.
People will probably think that it's 'no big deal', when actually it is a BIG deal. For centuries, homosexual people had to hide their true feelings so they weren't discriminated against. Just think how many men were forced to marry a woman they didn't have feelings for in order to hide who they were? And vice versa.
It's so sad to think that, for such a long period of time, if a man so much as held hands with another man, they were discriminated against or, in the worst cases, killed.
Today is a big deal because the LGBQT community can now feel accepted as a society.
If you are gay, lesbian or a bisexual, that's fine and has always has been, it's just that there's too many people who find it difficult to accept, which astonishes me. It makes me sick how a person can't accept that two people of the same sex love each other.
Homophobia has always been a massive problem in this world but I really hope that, today, those people will realise how little their opinions matter. So you're against a man being with another man? That doesn't matter, they are still going to be together. Homophobic people can try and stop them from being together, but they will never succeed.
I remember, growing up, I never had a problem with a man loving another man or a woman loving another woman. When I was 8, the popular sci-fi show, Doctor Who, returned and in the last episode, (*spoiler alert for series 1 episode 13*), one of The Doctor's companions, Captain Jack Harkness, is about to leave to try and fight off some Daleks. Before he leaves, he says goodbye by kissing The Doctor on the cheek. Like I said, at the time I was 8 and I didn't have a problem with it. Honestly. I didn't question it. I remember thinking 'aw that's sweet, he's saying goodbye to The Doctor by kissing him'. And in a film called St Trinian's, which was released when I was 10, there were some references to being gay and, at the time I didn't know what that word meant, but I remember my mum explaining it to me and I was 100% okay with it. I have always accepted people's differences. I never thought twice about it so when I learnt that there were (and still are, unfortunately) people who weren't accepting of homosexuality, I was taken aback. How could you not be accepting of two people's love for each other?! If you can accept a man and a woman being together, you can accept two people of the same sex being together.
I also hate how it's called 'homophobia'. Phobia means to have a fear of something but, to be honest, saying that you have homophobia doesn't mean you have a fear but you're just being a judgemental a***hole. You can't be afraid of two people of the same sex being together. It's irrational.
I think the world would be a much more positive place if there were less homophobic people in the world. Actually, it would be a lot better if those people didn't exist at all.

I am so proud of America for legalising same sex marriage. Today is a happy day and we should all be celebrating.
Love Wins.

❤ I Met Little Mix! ❤

So yesterday (9th of June), I met one of my favourite girl groups, Little Mix, at Key103 radio station in Manchester.
After being the first girl group to win The X Factor in 2011, they have been one of the most successful contestants to come off that show. They are just about to release their first single, Black Magic, from their third album, in a few weeks so all this week they'll be visiting various radio stations across the UK to promote it.
When I heard they were coming to Key103, which is my local radio statio, I was so excited. I have always wanted to meet Little Mix but haven't been able to for various reasons.
They arrived at the studio at about 11:30am and afterwards, they came outside and took pictures for the photographers waiting outside [see above picture].

They then proceeded to perform an acoustic version of Black Magic, which was amazing. Watch my videos of them performing here and here.
And just before they left, they got selfies with the fans, including me!
Here are my selfies(I don't look my best in these pictures, I know, I don't really care to be honest, I'm just really happy I met them!)

I'm laughing at the fact that there is a random girl behind me in my selfie with Jesy. I honestly don't know who she is and I didn't realise she was in my selfie! And I am holding a box of chocolates and a card for Jesy as it is her birthday this Sunday 14th June. When I gave them to her she was like "Awww thank you so much! You're so sweet!" I was so happy, she was really lovely.
Here she is being papped holding the card and chocolates. I really hope she likes them!

Afterwards, I decided that, since it was a really sunny day (which is really rare in Manchester), I'll have a walk round and visit some of the shops. I didn't buy anything as I hardly had any money of me but it was still nice to have a walk round.
Here is a picture of the Manchester Wheel I took. It's not as big as the London Eye, but still very big!
With the money I did have, I decided to spend it on a Strawberries & Cremé blend, which is my favourite thing to get at Starbucks, it is so nice. I'd definitely recommend it, it tastes just like stawberry milkshake with whipped cream on top.

So that was my day out in Manchester, one of the best days out I had.
Thank you for reading my blog.

❤ Cherry Treat Box Review ❤

Cherry Treat Box (£15.00)
One of my favourite YouTubers, Cherry Wallis, has just launched her very own 'Treat Box' and I couldn't be happier. If you're ever feeling sad or stressed, then why not treat yourself to her Treat Box? In this blog, I will be talking about what you can get inside the box.
Cherry Fizzing Bath Tart
This bath tart may look and smell good enough to eat but it's not edible. You drop it into your bath and watch it fizz away and create bubbles. I think this looks really cute and I can't wait to try it in my bath. I will update this post when I've tried it to let you know what I think.
A bar of milk chocolate
Now, who doesn't love chocolate? I know I definitely do. This milk chocolate tastes really yummy and what better way to treat yourself than with a whole bar of chocolate?

Two marshmallows
And the yummy treats don't stop there. You also get two marshmallows, one with Cherry's logo on (see the first picture) and another with a pretty picture of Cherry (see the second picture). I love marshmallows, they are one of my favourite treats.
 Buttercup Meadow Candle
Relaxing wouldn't be complete without a candle to keep you warm and spread a lovely fragrance around the room. Like the name, it smells like buttercups mixed with a hint of vanilla, which I love.

Rose Quartz Crystal
And by last, but no means least. you also get a Rose Quartz Crystal. Cherry herself has enjoyed collecting crystals for a few years and decided to put one in her treat box. I think they look really pretty. This is the meaning of the Rose Quartz Crystal:
So those are all the things you'll receive in your Cherry Treat Box?
Are you desperate to get one? Just go to http://www.cherrytreatbox.com/ to purchase your box for just £15.00 (not including p&p).

Enjoy!

❤ Celebrities I've Met ❤

Sorry for not posting in a while, I've been really ill but I'm feeling better now.
I have met quite a few celebrities so I thought I'd do a blogpost on who I've met.

Cher Lloyd
I first met Cher Lloyd on November 7th 2011, the day of her debut album Sticks + Stones release, when I was 14. I had been a huge fan of Cher's ever since she was on The X Factor in 2010 so when I heard she was doing a signing in Manchester, my hometown, I was so excited! On the day of the signing I got to HMV at about 5:00pm and waited outside freezing in my hoodie for about two hours because the queue was massive. I remember when I went inside and saw Cher, I couldn't stop smiling (as you can see in the above picture)! When I did meet her, I got about 30 seconds with her, I remember her saying that she "loved my hoodie" as it had Katie Loves Cher Lloyd on it. I remember being really speechless and was like "thanks, bye!" It went by really quickly.
I met Cher again on February 10th 2012 at the Key103 radio station. I remember only finding out the night before that she was going to be there and getting up really early at about 7am. I think I got to the radio station about 8:30am and waiting until 9am when Cher arrived. She turned up wearing a really cute bunny hat and smiled and waved at everyone. We waited for about an hour for Cher to come out and meet us all. We got pictures and she signed things for us but unfortunately in the car driving home, I didn't like my picture with Cher so I deleted it but, to be honest, I'm not surprised as I did look terrible. (In case you haven't already noticed, I'm on the far right).
And this is the last time I met her on July 21st 2014. I definitely think I look a lot better in this photo. It was at her Glad To Be Back UK Party and she did a gig before doing a meet and greet. This time I was a little less shy and spoke to her. I told her that she was amazing at her gig and she said "aww thank you!" I then asked her if she could sign my copy of Fabulous magazine, which she was on the front cover of, and she did. We then got a picture together and I then left. I couldn't be more happier and I feel so lucky to have met Cher three times. Hopefully I'll get to see her again soon.

Cheryl Fernadez-Versini
I know I look awful in this picture. I had gotten up at about 8am with hardly any sleep and I didn't bother to do anything with my hair because I was tired and couldn't be bothered. To be honest, I didn't think I'd actually meet her let alone get a picture with her so I didn't think it mattered. Of course, now it annoys me but my appearence doesn't matter. I'm still really happy I met Cheryl, I've been a massive fan of hers since I saw Girls Aloud in concert when I was about 8. I met her on 16th June 2014 at the first day of The X Factor auditions in Manchester. She was the only judge that came down and met everyone waiting. The other two judges I saw (Mel B and Louis Walsh) posed for pictures and met a few people and went inside. Cheryl was really sweet and even signed her autobiography.

Sarah Harding

I met Sarah Harding at the Imagine FM radio station in Stockport on 20th July and she was so sweet. There was quite a few people waiting and some paps as well and I think I waited about an hour. When she did eventually turn up, she waved and said 'I'll see you all after!' as she was late for her interview. We then waited about 15 minutes before she came out again and got selfies with us all! As you can see I took quite a few selfies and I found some pictures that some paps took of me and Sarah. I feel so happy to have met Cheryl and Sarah, now I just have to meet Nadine Coyle, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts.

Ella Henderson
I remember when I heard Ella's debut single, Ghost, on the TV and I loved it. I pre-ordered it on iTunes and saw on Ella's Twitter that she was doing a radio tour and was going to be at Key103 radio station. I remember watching Ella's audition on The X Factor the day it aired and then tweeting her saying that her audition "was so beautiful, it made me cry" and she tweeted me back saying "thank you" so I was very happy that I was getting the chance to meet her for the first time. She arrived in the afternoon at about 2pm and I had just missed her but she came out about 20 minutes later and signed a promo card for me and got a picture with me. She was so lovely. Unfortunately, I haven't met her since but I have seen her on Take That's tour and hopefully I'll be able to meet her on her own tour in November.

Stacey Solomon
I first met Stacey at her autobiography book signing at the Trafford Centre and I loved meeting her, she was just the sweetest person. She was on The X Factor and I really wanted her to win, unfortunately she came third. I queued for about 2 hours as there were loads of people there and when I did meet her, she was really lovely and asked me how I was. Just as I was leaving, I quickly told her that I loved her hair and she was like "aww, thanks!"
Can't believe how different we both look here! I met her again this year on the 22nd of April at her debut album signing. I gave her a box of Celebrations chocolates and she was so happy with them. She had just done a signing in Liverpool and hadn't really had the time to eat so she said that she was definitely going to eat them in the car. I remember leaving with a smile on my face, Stacey really is one of the most down to earth celebs I have ever met.

Amy Childs
Amy is best known for appearing on The Only Way Is Essex, also known as "TOWIE", which is a reality show set in Essex. Amy was appearing at a Professional Beauty event in Manchester where beauticans come and show off their products and give treatments, ect. I heard Amy was going to be there so I thought I'd might as well meet her. She was really sweet and I asked her how she had been and she said that she was really tired as she's had a long day. We then got a picture together and as I left, she told me to have a nice day.

Samantha Faiers
I met Samantha Faiers at her 'La Bella' perfume signing and there were loads of people there, I would say around 100. Sam, like Amy, had also appeared on TOWIE and had quite a big fan base. I think I waited about two hours to meet her but the wait was really worth it. She signed my perfume box and I told her that she was my favourite to watch on TOWIE and she was like "haha really? Thank you!" and we got a picture together and I left.

Vicky Pattison
Vicky Pattison is best known for appearing on reality TV series Geordie Shore, which is like TOWIE but it's set in Newcastle. I've always loved watching that show and thought it was really funny so when I heard Vicky was doing a book signing in Manchester, I knew I had to go. There was a lot of people there and I think I waited an hour and a half but when I did finally meet her she was so nice and told me she liked my skirt and said that it was "very 50's".

I met Vicky for a second time at her 'All That Glitters' book signing on the 4th of June and I was so excited to meet her again. I think I waited about two hours in the queue because she was chatting and getting selfies with everyone for a good 5 minutes each. When I eventually did meet her, I told her that I'd been reading the book in the queue and she asked me what I thought and I said that I was loving it and she was like "Aw, really? Thanks!". She signed my book and then we got a picture together and then she took some selfies on my phone, I was so happy. Vicky is one of the loveliest people I've met.

Charlotte Crosby

I know I look awful but I met Charlotte Crosby, who also appeared in Geordie Shore like Vicky, at the Trafford Centre as she was launching her debut clothing line, Nostalgia. I waited about an hour and a half to meet her and she was so sweet and funny. I asked her if we could do a pouting selfie and we did but the sad thing is, I remember looking back at these photos afterwards and hating how I looked. Now, I realise that appearence isn't that important, I just feel really happy to have met Charlotte.

I met Charlotte for a third time at her 'Me, Me Me' book signing at the Trafford Centre in Manchester on the 22nd July and she was just as sweet the first time I met her. She is so down to earth and her book is really funny as well.

Amelia Lily
I loved Amelia when she was on The X Factor, she was one of my favourites and had an amazing voice. Last July, she did a radio tour with her debut single California and she was at Imagine FM which is my local radio station. She was really sweet and told me that she loved my hair.

Little Mix
I met Little Mix (Jade Thirlwall, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Perrie Edwards and Jesy Nelson) at the Key103 radio station in Manchester on 09/06/15. It was such an amazing day and so weird to see them in person! After the interview they did an acoustic performance of 'Black Magic' which was amazing. Then they got selfies with the fans waiting there including me!
You can read more about my experience meeting Little Mix here.

Pixie Lott
I've always loved Pixie ever since she released her debut single, Mama Do, when I was 12 and ever since then I've always wanted to meet her. I couldn't be more happier when I heard she was doing a signing in Manchester. I waited about two hours to meet her and, when I did, she was really sweet and gave me a hug. I told her I'd been a fan of hers since Mama Do and she like "aw thank you so much!" and she then told me to enjoy the album.

Zoella (Zoe Sugg)
I met Zoe at her Girl Online book signing last November and there were about 200 fans who turned up and I think this is the longest I have waited for anyone which was about two and a half hours. But despite the long wait it was worth it, even if I did only get about 30 seconds with her. I couldn't get a picture with her as there were so many people to go through but we did have a quick hug and a short conversation which was me basically asking her how she was and her asking me how I was. I told her that I was fine and then I thanked her for signing my book.

Tanya Burr
I couldn't get a picture with Tanya as, like Zoe's signing, there was a lot of people, I think there was 150 people. I think I waited an hour to two hours to meet her but it was so worth it as Tanya was really sweet. We had a quick conversation (which you can hear on my Instagram here) and then I left with a big smile on my face.

Carrie Hope Fletcher
I loved meeting Carrie Hope Fletcher, she is definitely one of the most loveliest people I've met. You can read more about me meeting her here.

Louise Pentland (SprinkleofGlitr on YouTube)

I met Louise on the 2nd of July and I waited about three hours because she was stuck in really bad traffic all afternoon. I felt really bad for her so when I met her I said that I was sorry that she was stuck in traffic for so long and she was like 'Aww thank you, it's okay, I got to relax a little bit before the signing!' and when she signed my book she almost forgot to add the kisses (the 'x's) and she was like 'oh wait, let me add a kiss on the end, sorry!'. I told her to have a nice day and she said the same to me. She was so sweet. The reason why I only got three pictures was when I was next in the queue, the security next to me told me to put my phone away which I was a bit annoyed about but, oh well. I feel so happy to have met her.

So those are all the celebrities I have met. I can't wait to meet more in the future.
:)
